Thanks to our incredible sponsors, the Davis Applied Technology College Foundation had another great year on the golf course. Each year we are privileged to enjoy a day with each of you and realize your commitment to the development of employable skills through applied technology training. We have set a date for the next golf tournament and we are offering you the first opportunity of participating in the
15th Annual DATC Scholarship Golf Tournament
to be held
Wednesday, July 30, 2008
at the
Bountiful Ridge Golf Course
Funds from the tournament are used primarily to provide scholarships for Davis Applied Technology College students who otherwise would be unable to obtain the education and technical training necessary to compete in the job market.
Our goal is to raise $40,000 from this Golf Tournament!
Currently, some 70% of adult students attending classes at the college are in the low to moderate income bracket.
Thank you for allowing us to give these students a
chance for independence!
