Scholarships

The Foundation continues to provide scholarship funds for students with exceptional performance within specific skill areas, high school students with targeted completion during the summer after high school graduation and adult students with defined financial needs. During the past year the Foundation provided $85,000 for tuition and books to students enrolled at the College and made $20,000 available for tuition waivers.

Golf Tournament - another record

July 27, 2005 was the date for the 12th Annual DATC Foundation Golf Tournament held at the Bountiful Ridge Golf Course. With strong support and commitment from the community, sponsors and players made the students at the College the winners with more than $38,400 being raised to provide scholarships.

Participation in the tournament includes major tournament sponsorships, lunch sponsorships, hole/tee sponsors, golf cart sponsors and golf tournament participants. For information regarding this event, please call 801-593-2374.

Entrepreneurship Center Nearing Completion

In Spring 2006 responding to a request from the College, the Foundation committed to additional funding for complete build-out of the entire 16,000 square foot Entrepreneurship Center. August 23rd was set for the ribbon cutting/grand opening of the Entrepreneurship Center.
