This program prepares students to enter the world of hair design by teaching the required skills for success in a competitive and fascinating industry. Students learn the basics of Cosmetology, the science behind the artistry, practice a variety of techniques, and prepare for the state licensing exam. Students work on clients in a modern, well-equipped salon.

The Davis Applied Technology College offers the full 2,000 hour course required for state licensure.

Public Services
The Cosmetology Program offers all the latest haircuts, styles, color, highlights, perms, and nail services for men, women, and children. They are open to the public Monday through Friday. For an appointment call (801) 593-2401.

Students will be required to purchase a cosmetology kit, smock, and textbooks. Students are kept up-to-date with the newest techniques, products, and equipment. There are opportunities to participate in trade shows and specialty classes that will give students continuing education for their profession as a cosmetologist. The faculty and staff take pride in this very professional program.
