The Davis Applied Technology College is now offering a Fire Science Academy. This class begins on February 11, 2008 and runs through May 10, 2008. If you currently have the CPR Certification as listed below, you are eligible for the Fire Science Academy. Contact the College today at (801) 593-2332 to enroll for this course.

Requirements: The following must be provided at time of registration:

1. Prior to registering for the Fire Science Academy, you must pass the assessment
requirements at the Davis Applied Technology College. Please contact Student
Services for available days and times for testing at 593-2332. Important: All
applicants must pass the required admissions testing to be accepted into the Fire
Science Academy. Students should study the sample tests available and prepare
appropriately.
2. Complete and Pass a Doctor’s physical exam.
3. Current CPR Certification Card from one of the following:
a. American Heart Association – Healthcare Provider
b. American Red Cross – Professional Rescuer
c. National Safety Council – Infant and One & Two Man Adult CPR
4. All fees must be paid at registration.
