The Davis Applied Technology College had developed several programs focused on the emerging web and media technologies of the Internet. These programs include such web-related technologies as Web Page Design, Web Site Development, Internet Application Development, Internet Security, and Web Site Administration. Digital Publishing, Computer Designed Graphics, e-Business, Multimedia Development and Production, and 3D Modeling and Animation are also taught in this area.
The College is partnering with iGeneration© to provide the curriculum for these programs which will result in industry recognized certification for those completing the instruction and passing the certification exams.
The certifications offered through iGeneration are endorsed by such well known companies as Oracle©, Adobe©, Macromedia©, and Novell©. Students who wish to create and design web sites will select the creative track as their focus. Students will gain skills in designing web sites, as well as creating animations and art work for the Internet.
Enrollment in this program is year round.
