A medical assistant is an allied health professional trained in all aspects of medical office practice. The comprehensive training available at the College includes administrative as well as clinical competencies. Training includes classroom work, hands-on skill practice, and an externship in a medical office.

A medical assistant assists the physician in all aspects of medical office practices. The medical assistant may be found working in the front office performing administrative tasks, but more commonly is found in the back office performing clinical duties.

Enrollment for this program is year round.
