This course teaches all aspects of artificial nail technology. Students have hands-on training in principles of proper infection control and sanitation and understand chemicals used in artificial nails. The student learns how to identify and apply the different types of acrylic nails, and use of nail tips, nail wraps and gel. This course can be taken independently or in addition to the Cosmetology Program.
