The Surgical Technology Program is designed to prepare students for entry into a career as a Surgical Technologist. To comprehend the theoretical basis of surgical patient care, surgical technologists are educated to possess a solid foundation of knowledge in anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, microbiology, surgical procedures, and surgical instruments and disinfection, sterilization and emergency procedures.
The College's Surgical Technology Program is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Completers are eligible to take the National Certified Surgical Technologists Exam.
Application are accepted 4 times per year.
